Meet The Calm & Caring Dentistry Team
Graham Duckitt - Dentist
Hi I’m Graham, I work at the Keighley practice and have done since 2011. I’m originally from the Midlands, then moved to Leeds to study and loved Yorkshire so decided i had to stay and live here!
The most rewarding part of my job is treating anxious and phobic patients by improving their confidence in attending and improving their smile. It gives me great pleasure to help people realise that dentistry isn’t the horrible experience they think it is, or they may have experienced in the past. I am particularly keen on cosmetic treatment with emphasis on tooth friendly techniques including straightening teeth, whitening, bonding and veneers.
I absolutely love my job and i regularly attend courses in order to keep up with the latest techniques and improve my knowledge, so that i can provide the best care for my patients.
Outside of work I love playing most sports, i used to play rugby, but nowadays i enjoy golf, when i can find the time! I always like to see different parts of the world be it city breaks and beach holidays to Europe or to go further afield like Japan, India or Australia. My girlfriend and i have a dog, he keeps us out and about. We love to take him out on walks, as he has loads of energy, he literally never stops.

Bleu Carlisle - Group Practice Manager
Hello, My name is Bleu Carlisle and I am Taylored Dental Care’s Practice Manager. I started working for Taylored Dental Care 3 years ago as a Dental Nurse. I worked very closely with our implantologists ensuring patients journeys were of a high standard. I very much enjoyed Sedation Nursing as I loved being able help put patients anxieties at ease.
I became Team Leader of our Idle practice and soon after I stepped up into a Clinical Management role. I now manage all 4 of our practices and although at times this can be challenging, I love my role and being able to drive Taylored Dental Care forward. I am passionate about my chosen proffesion within Taylored Dental Care, enabling my team to be the very best they can be, while growing with us. I love that our team help so many patients who may never have had a pleasant dental experience.
My role is varied. From ensuring we are compliant with specific registered bodies to the general running on the business on a daily basis, however there is one thing that will never change. I strive for excellent customer service and would like all of our patients to have only the best experience with us here at Taylored Dental Care. I am contactable to all patients via my email, firstname.lastname@example.org or by telephoning any of our practices.
Outside of work I love spending time with my very active and crazy 5 year old son Harry and partner Steve. I love the outdoors and going anywhere that I can put my wellies on! Walks through the woods and visiting the Yorkshire Dales. I love crime documentaries and always wanted to be a police officer when I was a child. In the future I would love to own a small farm with various animals but a horse is definintely essential!

Hello, I’m Sarah the Dental Hygienist and Therapist here at Taylored Dental Care. You may see myself for treatments such as gum treatments, fillings, whitening treatments, aesthetic dentistry and pediatric dentistry.
My dental career began 14 years ago as a nurse and I then qualified with a merit as a Therapist in 2012 at the University of Leeds. I thoroughly enjoy my profession and I have proudly won many awards for outstanding achievement throughout my training.
My main passion is to help my patients achieve a smile that they are truly proud of! I strive to always make a positive influence in their journeys, to get the best possible outcome for each individual patient. I also really love aesthetic dentistry and take great pleasure in completing white fillings and whitening treatments for my patients. The most satisfying aspect of my job is seeing someone’s confidence rocket, through the help and treatment they have received from ourselves!
A lot of my spare time is taken up looking after my lovable rogue of a Springer Spaniel Mylo, with whom there is never a dull moment. When I do have time I love to travel and visit beautiful cities, with Italy and Prague being some of my favorites.

Why I'm A Dentist
My Dental Training
Breaking my front teeth started me on a path to dentistry
I chose a career in dentistry after a Scout camp believe it or not. The military had come down with their death slide, and we were practising a parachute drop, but one of the buckles hadn’t been tied up properly and flew up in my face breaking my front teeth.
I was about 12 years old when this happened and it’s stayed their ever since and I think it was probably this event that first got me thinking about a career in dentistry.
I trained to be a dentist in Leeds, starting in 1997. After graduating I studied for the Diploma in Restorative Dentistry, Royal College. In addition I trained to do dental sedation, several orthodontic systems and quite a few managerial courses.
Revolutionising a nervous patient’s life with sedation
My most outstanding moment of my career to date was meeting a very lovely lady in her fifties, she is absolutely petrified of coming to see the dentist.
Sedation entirely revolutionised her life. We were able to remove a couple of teeth, provide dental implants, gum treatment, all these things that she would never have thought possible.
Not only that we also fitted a couple of crowns which were made on the same day with our CEREC machine.
She’s one of our most loyal customers now, a great ambassador telling all her friends about us, that’s one of the reasons I love treating nervous patients.
